Privacy Policy
Who We Are
This policy covers AD Mechanical Services Inc., a hvac contractor (license #1155755) at San Mateo, CA. “We”, “us” and “our” mean AD Mechanical Services Inc.. “You” means anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it.
It covers this website and the information you give us when you call or email us.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you call or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell or send us, such as photos of the job.
If you give us information about someone else, such as a tenant, a relative or the owner of the property, please make sure they are fine with you sharing it.
Information collected automatically
This website runs on a hosting company’s servers. When your browser loads a page, the host records standard technical details: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page that sent you, and the date and time. We use these records only to run, fix and protect the site.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, session recording or cookies of our own.
What not to send us
Please do not send bank or card numbers, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passwords or health information through email. We do not need them to quote the job, and email is not fully secure.
Outside Services On This Site
Nothing on this site loads from another company.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- answer your call or email;
- look at the job, give you a quote and schedule the work;
- do the work and follow up on it;
- keep records of quotes, contracts, permits, invoices and payments;
- follow the law, including tax, licensing and building rules;
- keep the site and our records safe, and stop fraud or misuse;
- bring or defend legal claims.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not build profiles of you for advertising.
We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law uses those terms.
We do not give your information to other companies for their own marketing. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code section 1798.83) lets California residents ask us about such disclosures once a year, using the contact details below.
We do not offer discounts or other rewards in exchange for your information.
Calls And Email
When you contact us, we call or email you about your request and your job, including follow up after the job, such as asking how we did.
We will not send you marketing emails unless you ask for them.
To stop calls or emails, tell us by phone or email. We stop within 10 business days, except for messages about work you have already booked with us.
Photos Of Our Work
Some pages show photos of jobs we have done. We post photos of a customer’s property only with the customer’s permission.
Before we post a photo, we blur or crop out house numbers, license plates, faces and anything else that would identify the property or the people there.
If you see your property, your vehicle or yourself in a photo on this site and want it taken down, call (510) 240-9011 or email info@admechanicalca.com. We take it down within 10 business days.
Your Choices And Rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you, where it came from, why we have it and who we have shared it with;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop calling or emailing you.
We honor these requests from anyone, wherever you live.
How to ask
Email info@admechanicalca.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject, call (510) 240-9011, or write to the address below. Tell us what you want and how to reach you.
To protect you, we check that the request comes from you by matching details we already have, such as your name, phone number and property address. We ask only for what we need to check, and we use it only for that.
Someone you authorize, such as a relative or an attorney, can ask for you. We may ask for your signed permission and confirm the request with you directly.
What happens next
We confirm we got your request within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you why, and we take no more than 45 days more.
We may keep records the law requires us to keep, or that we need for a dispute or a legal claim, such as contracts, permits and invoices. If we keep anything, we tell you what and why.
Requests are free. We will never charge you more, give you worse service or treat you differently for making one. If a request is clearly unfounded or excessive, we may decline it, and we tell you why.
Do Not Track And Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We do not track you across other websites, so these signals have nothing to switch off on our side. We treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, which we do not do in any case.
Children
This site is for adults arranging work on a property. It is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy:
- if you ask for a quote and do not hire us, as long as we need to answer you and follow up on that quote;
- if we do work for you, as long as we may need it for follow up on the work and as long as California law requires us to keep contractor, tax and business records;
- host server records, for the period our host keeps them.
We delete your information when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it, and we clear out old records we no longer need.
Keeping It Safe
This site uses HTTPS, which encrypts what you send through it. We let only the people working on your request or job see your information.
No website, email or phone system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that no one will ever get to your information without permission. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as California law requires.
Where Your Information Is Kept
We are based in California and handle your information in the United States. Some of the companies that work for us may process information in other countries under their own policies.
Other Websites
This site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies before you give them information.
Accessibility
If you have a disability and need this policy in another format, call (510) 240-9011 or email info@admechanicalca.com and we will provide it.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top (October 21, 2026). If we make a significant change, we say so at the top of this page, and we do not apply it to information we already have from you without your consent where the law requires it.
