Where we work
Do you come to my town? Here's the list.
We're based in San Mateo and work across San Mateo County, Santa Clara County and the southern East Bay, plus San Francisco's residential neighborhoods. Each city below has its own page with the local permit and rebate rules; the rest are listed below.

Which other towns do you serve?
Beyond the cities above, we also work in these places:
- San Mateo County: Atherton, Foster City, Millbrae, Woodside, Portola Valley, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Daly City, East Palo Alto, Pacifica, Half Moon Bay and the coastside
- Santa Clara County: Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Saratoga, Los Altos Hills, Campbell, San Jose, Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Morgan Hill and Gilroy
- San Francisco and the East Bay: San Francisco's residential neighborhoods, Fremont, Hayward, Newark, Union City, San Leandro and Castro Valley
Your own city has permit and rebate rules of its own. Call and tell us where you are and we'll say what applies.
Which areas don't you serve?
Anything outside the counties and neighborhoods listed here. We work in San Francisco's residential neighborhoods, not across the whole city, and we don't take jobs beyond the southern East Bay.
If you're not sure whether your address is in range, call before you assume either way.
Do the same rules apply in every county you serve?
Not for permits or rebates: each city sets its own permit steps, and each electricity provider runs its own rebates. What the counties we serve do share is the regional air regulator, the Bay Area Air District, which covers San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Alameda counties.

How do I check an HVAC contractor before the work starts?
The state licensing board tells homeowners to confirm, before an HVAC system is installed, that the contractor holds an active HVAC licence in good standing. It takes a minute on the board's website.
Ours is CSLB licence #1155755, C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning, under AD Mechanical Services Inc. and its owner, Adlan Cherkesbiev.
