Not sure which service you need?
Describe what's happening and we'll work out which it is: a cold house in winter, a warm one in summer, a noise, a smell or a bill that jumped. You don't need to know the name of the part.
Does the new energy code apply to my replacement?
Yes. California's latest Energy Code took effect in January 2026, and it covers alterations to existing homes, so an AC, furnace or heat pump replacement is held to it. Each city then adds its own permit steps.

Who will do the work?
AD Mechanical Services Inc., a San Mateo company owned by Adlan Cherkesbiev, under CSLB licence #1155755, C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning. The state licensing board tells homeowners to check, before an HVAC system is installed, that the contractor holds an active licence in good standing.
